Cat. #003242: GEORGE SIDNEY

Scarce vintage signature in thick pencil on a 4x6-inch pale grey album page, acquired in-person by movie studio secretary and autograph hound Rosanne Deerdorff Ochoa in the 1930s. In good condition. Portly character actor George Sidney-- not to be confused with the actor and producer of the same name-- appeared in scores of silent and early talkie comedy shorts and full-length features, often with Charles Murray, Louise Fazenda, Mack Swain, Kate Price, Vera Gordon, and Jobyna Ralston.
